1.Exemption from entertainment taxes for serving defense personnels is in vogue but it is observed with concern that all the movie theater including Cinemax and PVRs in Nasik , Jhansi and Allahabad are not abiding with the law and refuse defense person an exemption from the entertainment tax.
2. Moreover, it is also observed that in the above mentioned districts parking charges are also levied on the serving defense persons, where as the police and local administration are given a waiver even if the rank n appt of the defense person is much senior n above the district administration official or the police official he is refused the privilege.
3. It is now the responsibility of the concerned district administration to enforce the center and state existing laws for the armed forces as this is not the job of the armed forces to enforce it.
4. Any anomaly in the existing rule process is a clear disrespect to the consttution and the national machinery as also it is a disrespect to the Armed forces and total disregard to their efforts for the nation.
